Brian Douglas is a Developer Advocate at GitHub where he works on increasing use of the GitHub and its API by helping users through technical content and examples. He focuses his day to day work on developer engagement through the GitHub Developer Program by fostering a community for 3rd party API development. He previously had a career in sales before turning to his true love, coding. After quickly honing his engineering skills he has since worked as both engineers and mentor to others also looking to make a similar career change.
